Crystals, New People and Spontaneous Shopping Trips

I’ve been trying find a lot of me time recently and it hasn’t been the easiest when you are at work 9 hours for 6 days a week. I feel slightly suffocated when i am around the same people 24/7, it can be hard to be patient with different people, as we are all trying to get to know each other still. I am only 2 months in and it is hard to let people in bit by bit when you have to spend the next 16 months together. It’s always natural to make a closer bond with a couple of people, as its human. I think it’s important to stick to those natural connections and surround yourself with those people who you feel closer with because they will keep you smiling. I also think it’s important to keep that effort with the rest of your employees because it is polite and it should really not affect your own energy.

I learnt that i need to make sure i do a couple of things a week that keep me in track with myself, even if its spread out and i go for that coffee date or cinema trip to just forget about work and zone out. I realised i really neeeed this! We all do, just find that calm in all of the drama and crazy life. Ah, i read about actually relaxing in the shower, so we rush and make getting ready just a casual routine and it’s always rushed for us to get out of the house. Really try to make sure you make enough time to enjoy your shower and get ready, with some music in the background, feeling the water against your skin. Showering should be therapeutic, make it part of the day where you just you can’t wait to shower or bathe. Make it a breather for you to wake yourself up or to wind you down after a long day. Showering should be one of your favourite times of the day!

img_1006I bought a rose quartz crystal and a dream catcher last week sunday. The rose quartz represents unconditional love and self-love, so I’m trying to really work on self-love this year by just really appreciating who i am and realising that i am beautiful and sexy. I mean I found it very strange to even write that down. So, women there is always a start, get that pen and paper and write it down. See how you feel, say it aloud and see how you feel. We have to work on actually feeling it without becoming arrogant, but single ladies once you embrace that beauty you will find your match. Surprisingly it all goes down hill again when you get into relationships because you want to just impress your partner naturally and be that sexy lady, but that is all in your head. Your man is with you because you are sexy and beautiful, embrace it with your partner. Walk around him with a smile and shake that booty whilst you walk, he will always be happy if you are, End of!

I was browsing around the shops with my friend and decided to just buy clothes to go out that night; this is not the first time I’ve just bought clothes there and then and changed in the changing rooms for the night, we was in decent clothes but we wanted something to wear straight away to hit the bars. Please tell me, we are not the only ones who have done this? So we got some bottles and then went back to hers to get ready and then we didn’t even leave the house!!! Hilarious, we just sat there drinking and chatting to her house mate. It was so perfect, with our favourite tunes in the background. So women, always go with the flow because now i have a spare sexy outfit ready for a cheeky night out. I feel like when travelling this is going to be a regular thing, Woopsy!

We need to get out more often. Be free.



Day To Day Thinking


Train delays. You’ve been annoying.

TfL have been awful this week and the funny thing is, we can’t doing anything about it. We just have to accept that we will be late for work but i can always see the stress in everyone’s faces. Everyone who was on my tube is most likely to be late as-well, so technically we are never alone. I’m so happy I had 9 hours sleep some nights, also my body is dying from head to toe from the amazing routines I’ve learnt for the show this week. I always know when I can’t sit on the toilet seat with out holding on to something that i have worked hard. It’s been an intense week for me with rehearsals, I’ve been wearing my sports wear all week! Yesterday my anxiety was really high and when it is i always want to blame it on the contraceptive pill; that plays with our hormones; because we shouldn’t really be putting that into our bodies but we all do anyway, Ha! It’s so not good for our hormones (slight breakdown). I realised i just needed more food and more rest because my body needed fuel to keep me strong whilst working out more than it’s used to. So always remember that when you get emotional make sure you eat a massive meal, have some tea and sleep!!!! Please beauty queens, before you have a BREAKDOWN. Diva in the house.

I hate when i stress about little things in advance before the event has even happened or trying to work out a situation that isn’t even there. Why am i making up the worst scenario/Hollywood movie in my head, when nothing has even happened yet. I’m always planning on the worst stuff to happen. Why do i care so much, when nothing has even happened? I seem we all can tend to just make up situations in our head when that wasn’t exactly what happened, we over analyse every step and moment! I need to just leave it at where it is because in the end no one actually cares, only i do. Even my body, i was comparing myself to others all week, as most of us do as performers, we tend to always be looking for that ”dancer body’ or we assume we wont get hired for a job, that’s all rubbish! No one actually really cares about size, they just want to see our talent, but once we believe in ourself truly, they’re not even looking for that. Of course for performers it is casted our looks; that makes it harder for us; to make sure everyone looks good together as a company, but that’s not our issue to worry about and the next job will be round the corner.

Lets take a breath this weekend and forget our everything. Lets just live and eattttt!!!!

I ordered some moreeee clothes yesterday!!! Asos at its finest.

I’m so excited to get wearing these during my rehearsals, the snake-skin print leggings blend in with my skin tone and I’m soooo impressed with the quality of them. I’ve always loved a Bershka running leggings, I’ve had a pair for 2 year and they’ve lasted so long! The quality must be good to last as long as that! So excited to get dancing around in these. Who doesn’t love a print!?

Yes yes yes to black! If you don’t know what to wear, choose black! This is 100% a sexy number, if you are brave enough get this outfit on with some black skinny jeans. This outfit is for a night out to a date night with your loved one/friends. Always nice to change things up. I love a bell sleeve and an off shoulder!

We all have times when we get really busy and we get a sudden rush of having to do a million of things at the same time. If you spread your work out; breath and take your time with everything; you will most likely get more things done than rushing, panicking and trying to get it done all at once. Really try to chill out and relax when you have a lot on your plate. One step at a time. Trust me, i put that into practice today and most likely the whole tour because i have to cover two main roles in the musical I’m doing (Matilda). Find that calm state you think you don’t have, especially as women as we have so much hormones running through our bodies. We don’t want an easy life.

I love people watching, especially on the tube or at coffee shops. People are so interesting and they all have their own story and individual life going on, it’s mad. Everyone on their own journey. I find it so therapeutic wondering what’s going on in their tiny little brains. We all look like robots sometimes when we pace about from door to door and totally forget to take our time to breathe in that air that surround us. I think everyone naturally feels tired in the morning, but why moan and depress ourself when we can just embrace it for what it is and then try to rest in the evening. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes I’m shattered but i got no where complaining and dwelling on it. So now, I’m really trying to find that relaxed state and just eating the right things when i feel this way. Even when i know i have some time to rest i think it will be wise to close my eyes for a couple of minutes and just be. Then your day off arrives and you can either start the day with your schedule and then get on that sofa and zone out for a bit. There is always time.


We always have to be somewhere at certain at a time. I would say just set your alarm early or find a way where you can chill and do what’s best for you before you have to reach your destination/work. Just find a calm before you have to start challenging that amazing brain of ours. If I have to get up early i’m going to really try waking up earlier to put some good things in my body instead of rushing out without any fuel and starting work on an empty. Lets try to build and create our own life we want to live, really trying to be in control what we do instead of the way of life forcing us to get into that boring routine where we just end up all in a terrible mess.

Deep post today. I just feel it’s really important to make yourself feel good, right?!

How do you feel about grey? I love the nude and subtle colours, AND BLACK! On the left we have the Bloch heels which always goes well with jeans or a dress, Bloch heels are just so much more comfy than thing heeled shoes. So if you are ready for a long night out than these are the shoes for you! Heels just slightly under the knee, i would dress these with blue jeans and the love slogan jumper from Topshop that i posted yesterday. Snazzy!!


This blue velvet jacket is such a beautiful colour. It worn at all times especially when it starts getting warmer, hopefully! I never wear long skirts but those long-legged stunning women out there please put them on. This hot-shot pink colour is everything!! Girl, you dying to pick up all the compliments wearing this.

Do You Find It Hard To Relax?

When you get some time off work, do you also find it hard to relax? I’ve had 5 weeks off this Christmas (which I am thankful for). I’m currently in between jobs at the moment and I’m finding it very difficult to just chill and put my head back. Do you think it’s the little things we love doing, that make us feel “relaxed”?

Relaxed = Free from tension and anxiety

Zen stones balancing with candles and a Buddha figureI did take up an intensive 7 day job dancing for Helene Fischer (one of the biggest pop stars in Germany), for her Christmas show, going live on the 25th of December on Channel ZDF. The job wasn’t relaxing but it was a fun experience and I was challenged in a style of dancing I haven’t done in years. I’ve done a lot more cooking than I have been doing this year, which I funnily enough find relaxing, especially with some music in the background. Then I found I got anxiety from doing nothing all day, it’s mad! In that tiny mind of mine I wasn’t relaxed, my mind was so use to thinking a million things at once. The feeling of sitting around wasn’t enough for my head. I don’t think I’m the only one who loves to be proactive, maybe the idea of doing house chores without rushing about is also relaxing. This week I’ve still managed to somehow to get myself into a little routine as in; getting up to make breakfast then relaxing and watching some christmas movies, I would then write some ideas for my blog, then I would slowly get up and do some yoga and maybe a strengthening video after with some dancing stretches to keep supple for my next job, finally I get out and wander around. You get the idea!

1A29D984-9EAF-421C-B50A-5F2D5A84C8BEI’m currently in German this Christmas season. I’m spending quality time with my love, which I can’t moan about! Sometimes we don’t get time to see the people we love enough, so doing what ever we can in our spare time to see our loved ones is alway nice.  It’s actually a really nice feeling. Not everyone has enough holidays and free time, so its trying to find the right balance to get your mind into that relaxing state. Germany is sooooo chilled and beautiful, so I shouldn’t complain about having nothing to do, but I did live here for a year and a half, so I know my way about. I do feel at home in Germany and I do love my local coffee shops which get me out. It’s perfect for me to write in different environments as It gets my brain waving and thinking about other things. For me getting some oxygen and fresh air gives me that amazing feeling too, if I don’t get out for at least an hour a day I don’t feel content, I feel agitated. It’s such a weird feeling and maybe I’m not alone with this.

I find doing exercises in my spare time also relaxing and it burns enough energy for me to actually relax my body. I feel like I should of tried to meditate at least 3 times a week and channel my focuses on all the amazing stuff that has gone on over the past year and accept all the amazing things to come. I don’t really walk around in parks in the winter, maybe I should grab my partner and go for a walk this christmas, and just enjoy the local amazing German parks in the winter. I do love a walk in a park but mostly in the summer. I did it for a whole year when I was living in Germany. OMGOSH, I forget my daily commute and how beautiful nature was to pass by. I took that for granted in London, I defiantly didn’t have any amazing parks on my commute to work, I had the underground. Now talking about London, I do feel very relaxed here on my break in Germany and I’m so happy I found the time open up my personal blogging website, it was the best idea this Christmas break and I am thankful.

Samara’s Monki Haul Christmas Online Shop

I’ve been a huge fan of Monki for years, and this year I feel like I have abandoned the brand. So I had a little browse this week and got some early sale items.

I’m Obessed with pink, I use to have this obsession with pink clothes and jumpers, so I’ve added a new one now. Again sticking to that vintage style, loose fit. Pure SASS.


Tapered silk, high waisted with a loose fit. WOW, all my items today seem to be in a vinatge style.I only seem to wear high-waisted, I can’t deal with low waist jeans/trousers, as it just doesn’t suit my body. It’s always good to know what clothes suit your shape.


Shiny classic top to go with all my snazzy pants and jeans, I’m going to wear this top on Christmas Day I think. It’s so cozy and snug, stretchy material! Perfect, because I will be eating everything the next few days!

Things That Make Us Smile


A hug is so simple, yet it can make you feel so happy. I want to try hugging more often and do you know what? I would love it if you guys could try it too. When you greet someone, go for a hug , really welcome them. Watch the difference you feel about yourself. I tried it all day, and i just felt so content and at ease. Instead of thinking of what the other person is thinking of you, you end up thinking that you’ve given them something special. EH, because it is special. Don’t underestimate the HUG now please.

Expressions is one of the first things you notice when you meet someone, their energy is sooo obvious. It Doesn’t mean they are this way today because of seeing you, they may be stressed/had a really crazy tiring day. So what do I say, give them a hug. You can also make people feel better instantly, that stressed person is now all of a sudden feeling at ease, they are feeling happier. BECAUSE OF YOU! YAYYYY. So simple, right?

Why don’t we all buy these massive Teddy Bears and hug them all day and sleep.

So cute.

This is why we find lovers and we sooner or later find out that all we want to do is just hug them, while doing the things we like.

Vintage Style Works Well, Forever

This year; is nearly over, HOWWWW!?; I experimented with different styles and

prints to find what suited me, due to my Afro, what I didn’t expect is that the 80s/90s style is so me and it tends to suit a lot of you chic beautiful women. Put on something stylish this winter season and show the world how you explore fashion with your own body. The style of clothes you probably wouldn’t dream of trying on, is most likely a style that will suit you more than you thought. Go on, I dear you! Pick up a random selection of clothing items in a store that you love the look of, of course, and try it on. You will be surprised with how much it changes your look. SUPERSTAR!

There’s so much styles to look at these days, and they all go round in a circle! From stripes, florals, leathers, suedes and velour/crushed velvet. Try adding some textures to your style as well. My daily outfits always tend to involve different textures from head to toe; it’s crazy; I never noticed until someone pointed it out to me. But it’s sooo true.

Here are some picks I have in my wardrobe and new in items I loved online.


This throw over kimono, adds some glam to a basic jean and t-shirt outfit. Why not throw this on top and wack a pair of heels on when you cant find a outfit to wear. Such a beautiful quick fashion tip.


This is a brave beautiful statement, I use to hate wide leg trousers but if you find the right fit around the bum and legs you can look so sexy its unreal, so try go for a wide leg that fits snug around the top half of your legs, it will insinuate you figure.



This t-shirt dress has so much flare and style to it, keeping the vintage old school look. But yet can look so glam. Again, I use to hate stripes until i bought this and realised how fashionable and cool I looked. I say get the legs out with this t-shirt on a night out, and watch the compliments flow by.


Such a beautiful addition to a basic outfit again, these little details make the fashion. There is not much to say but this is such a day into evening item and can be worn all seasons round, I assume.



Love love love these. These pants are soooooo cool! Put these on with a cropped top or a black long sleeve turtle neck body and you are ready for that cozy day out. Get some vans on with these or some comfy trainers.
